ഒരു നടനെന്ന നിലയില് കഥാപാത്രമായി മാറുക എന്നത് സുപ്രധാനവും സങ്കീര്ണവുമായ പ്രക്രിയയാണ്. കഥാപാത്രം ആരാണ് എന്താണ് എന്നതിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ഒരു വ്യക്തിത്വവും ശൈലിയും സംസ്കാരവും ഒക്കെ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്, ഒരു കഥാപാത്രം തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തിന്റെ പാത്രസൃഷ്ടിയുടെ വൈദഗ്ധ്യങ്ങള്ക്കു മേലേ ഒരു വ്യക്തിത്വവും ചരിത്രവും ജീവിതവും ഒക്കെയുള്ള ആളാകുമ്പോള് ആ കഥാപാത്രമായി മാറുക എന്നത് അത്ര എളുപ്പമല്ല. കഥാപാത്രം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയല്ല, മഹത്തായ ഒരു ദൌത്യം പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കുന്നതു പോലെയോ പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കിയ ദൌത്യം പ്രഘോഷിക്കുന്നതു പോലെയോ ഒക്കെ പവിത്രമായ ഒരനുഭവമായി അതു മാറും.
കേരളവര്മ പശശ്ശിരാജയെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞത് അത്തരത്തില് ഒരു ദൌത്യപൂര്ത്തീകരണമോ പ്രഘോഷണമോ ഒക്കെയാണെനിക്ക്. സിനിമയുടെ താല്പര്യങ്ങള്ക്കപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് സമര്ഥനും സത്യസന്ധനുമായ ആ സ്വാതന്ത്യ്രപ്പോരാളിയെക്കുറിച്ചോര്ത്ത് മനസ്സില് വ്യഥ നിറയുന്നതും അതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. ഇന്ന് പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടെ 204-ാം ചരമവാര്ഷികം. പഴശ്ശിരാജ എന്ന സിനിമയെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള ആലോചനകള് തുടങ്ങുന്ന കാലം മുതല്, മലയാളത്തിന്റെ ഗുരുനാഥന് എംടി വാസുദേവന് നായര് ആ പോരാളിയുടെ ജീവിതം എഴുതിത്തുടങ്ങുമ്പോള് മുതല്, കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏതാനും വര്ഷങ്ങളായി, നവംബര് 30 എന്ന ദിവസം വളരെ അടുത്ത ഒരു ബന്ധു എന്ന പോലെ പഴശ്ശി മനസ്സില് നിറയുകയാണ്. എന്തുകൊണ്ടോ ഈ വര്ഷം പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും, പാഠപുസ്തകത്തില് പഠിച്ചതും പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടതും അന്വേഷിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതും ധ്യാനിച്ചു സംഗ്രഹിച്ചതുമൊക്കെയായി പഴശ്ശിയുടെ വീരചരിതം മനസ്സിനെ വല്ലാതെ പ്രകമ്പനം കൊള്ളിക്കുന്നു. ആ വാള്പ്പിടിയിലെ ഊര്ജപ്രവാഹം അറിയാതെ കൈകളില് ആവേശിക്കുന്നു.
ചിലരുടെ ജീവിതം എത്ര കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞാലും നമ്മെ വല്ലാതെ വേട്ടയാടും. ഒരു പക്ഷെ, മനസ്സുകള് തമ്മിലുള്ള ചേര്ച്ചയാവാം അല്ലെങ്കില് ആ ജീവിതം ജീവിക്കാനായില്ലല്ലോ എന്ന നിരാശയാവാം. കഥാപാത്രമായി മാറുമ്പോള് അഭിനയിക്കുകയാണെന്നു നടനു തോന്നാത്തത് ആ ജീവിതം ജീവിക്കാന് ലഭിച്ച അവസരം വല്ലാത്ത ആവേശത്തോടെ ആസ്വദിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ്. കഥാപാത്രമായി മാറുക എന്നൊക്കെ പറയുന്നത് ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ പ്രഫഷനലിസത്തിനപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് സ്വയം അസ്വസ്ഥതപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന, ആഴ്ചകളോളം നീറിപ്പിടിക്കുന്ന ഒരനുഭവമാണ്. ഒരു നടന്റെ വിധിയാണത്. അപ്പോഴും, ആവിഷ്കരിക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ ജീവിതം നമ്മളിലൂടെ തുടരുകയാണ് എന്ന നിര്വൃതി എല്ലാ അസ്വസ്ഥകളെയും ശാന്തമാക്കും.
കുറച്ചുനാളത്തേക്കെങ്കിലും വീരപഴശ്ശിയായിരുന്നു ഞാന്. ആ മനസ്സിന്റെ കരുത്തും, തീര്ച്ചകളിലെ മൂര്ച്ചയും അമ്പരപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആഴത്തില് അനുഭവിക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെനിക്ക്. രണ്ടു നൂറ്റാണ്ടു മുമ്പേ കഥാവശേഷനായ പഴശ്ശിക്ക് കേരളസമൂഹത്തില് ഇന്നും ഇത്ര ശക്തമായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്താനായി എന്നത് പഴശ്ശിയുടെ ജീവിതം കാലത്തിനും ചരിത്രത്തിനും മേല് അവശേഷിപ്പിച്ച ഒരിക്കലും മരിക്കാത്ത അടയാളങ്ങളാണ്. സിനിമയില് കണ്ടതിനുമപ്പുറത്താണ് പഴശ്ശി എങ്കിലും അവിടേക്കെത്താന് പഴശ്ശിരാജ എന്ന സിനിമ നിമിത്തമായി എന്നതില് അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു.
പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടെ പോരാട്ടവും ജീവിതവുമൊക്കെ അക്കാദമിക് തലത്തിനപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് ഉയരുന്നത് ഇന്നത്തെ സാമൂഹികാവസ്ഥയില്പ്പോലും അദ്ദേഹം മുറുകെ പിടിച്ച ആശയങ്ങള് പ്രസക്തമാണ് എന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. പറഞ്ഞു പഴകിയ വാക്കുകളാണെങ്കിലും വര്ഗീയതയും ആഗോളവല്ക്കരണവും ഒക്കെ അനുദിനം നമ്മള് നേരിടുന്ന വിഷയങ്ങളാണ്. വിദേശ അധിനിവേശം ചെറുക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം നമ്മുടെ കാര്ഷികമേഖലയുടെ അടിത്തറ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി വ്യക്തമായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാട് പഴശ്ശിയ്ക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യന് മതേതരത്വത്തിന്റെ കരുത്തനായ കാവലാളായിരുന്നു പഴശ്ശി.

താങ്കളുടെ ഈ ലേഖനം വളരെ അധികം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. ചരിത്രത്തെ വളരെ ഗഹനം ആയി പഠിച്ചിട്ടാണ് താങ്കള് ഈ കഥാപാത്രം ചെയ്തത് എന്ന് ഇത് വായിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവര്ക്കും മനസ്സിലാവും. സിനിമ നടന്മാര്ക്കിടയില് ഇത്രയും നല്ല എഴുത്ത് ഭാഷ അപൂര്വ്വം എന്നും പറയട്ടെ. പക്ഷെ, പഴശ്ശി രാജ എത്രത്തോളം ഒരു ചലച്ചിത്രം എന്ന നിലയില് വിജയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന കാര്യത്തില് എനിക്ക് സംശയം ഉണ്ട്. ചരിത്രം അതേ പോലെ പകര്ത്താന് ആണെങ്കില് ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി എടുത്താല് പോരെ? പാഷന് ഓഫ് ദ ക്രൈസ്റ്റ് എന്ന ചിത്രവും ഒരു മഹത്തായ ചലച്ചിത്രം ആകാതിരുന്നതിനു കാരണവും ചരിത്രത്തില് ഒരു വ്യതിയാനത്തിന് തയ്യാറാവാതിരുന്നത് കൊണ്ടല്ലേ? അങ്ങനെ ഒരു ധൈര്യം എം ടി യെ പോലെ ഉള്ള ഒരു എഴുത്തുകാരന് എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് കാണിച്ചില്ല എന്നതിലാണ് എനിക്ക് അദ്ഭുതം. പഴശ്ശി രാജാവിന്റെ മരണത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അവ്യക്തത തന്നെ നല്ല ഒരു പരീക്ഷണത്തിനുള്ള അവസരം അല്ലെ? അത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എന്റെ മനസ്സില് പഴശ്ശി രാജയുടെ സ്ഥാനം എന്നും ഒരു വടക്കന് വീര ഗാഥയുടെ പിന്നിലായിരിക്കും.
പഴശ്ശി സമരക്കാരനായിരുന്നോ?
ശരിയാണ്..താങ്കളുടെ ഈ അഭിപ്രായത്തോട് യോജിക്കുവാന് മാത്രമാണ് തോന്നുന്നത്. വീണ്ടും പഴശിമാര് ജനിക്കേണ്ട സമയം ഈ രാജ്യത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു പോയോ എന്ന ഒരു സംശയവും ബാക്കി.
An alternative, honest and critical review of "Keralavarma Pazhassi Raja"
Saw “Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja”! What a disgrace! An over done film in all disciplines. Subtlety is an unheard idea in this film. The much cerebrated Rasool Pookooty has followed the same path of doing things over the top. If he thinks great sound mixing is giving corresponding loud sound to all actions shown in screen, he is certainly wrong. We are forced to think that, he won the Academy award in a fluke, or rephrase it as “won as a part of film which won a lot of awards”.
The stunt choreography is the worst you can expect from a historical film. Copying the stunts from “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” and failing is such a disgrace.
The climax shows “Pazhassi” killing one enemy in almost the same way Achilles (Brad Pitt) kills the giant Boagrius in the 2004 Hollywood film “Troy”.
I am sure no one would have complained if the force of gravity was applicable to the characters in “Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja”!
The only thing which haunts from the film is the power packed and steaming performance by “Edachena Kungan Nair” (Sharath Kumar).
The performance by our legendary Mammooty is actually very neat and underplayed. The fact that Pazhassi was an old man (55 yrs) when she died is not well depicted as Mammootty looks much younger than his real age (56 yrs)!
The stubborn nature of Padmapriya would have forced the director to let her give voice for the film which has ended up in a non existent Malayalam accent.
A film which spends millions needs to have descent make-up. The beard of “Thalakkal Chandu” looks like one from a School Drama. The hair extensions given are so amateurish. It should be noted that the Malayalam film “Rajashilpi” (1992) had very high standard hair extensions.
The English men of the East India Trading Co. are shown as Whisky drinking, conspiracy loving stereotypical idiots. Any English men would be disturbed by the silly visualization of the life of English men in later part of 18th Century , just like we Indians feel bad when certain Hollywood flicks shows Indian as snake charmers or people who sits in front of “Taj Mahal” and await the incineration from attacking aliens.
It is also certain that a Character of “Dora” (Linda Arsenio a Hispanic-Yugoslavian who from any angle does not look like an English lady) is fictious a character and it’s a cheap attempt to satisfy the Indian nationalism.
The characters depicted by Jagathi Sreekumar and Jagadish are right out of comic book and could have been made more subtler.
It is a known fact that Pazhassi Raja killed himself by swallowing diamond from his ring when he was surrounded by the East India company soldiers. M.T. Has once again twisted the story (like previous Vadakkan Veera Gatha and Perumthachan) and this time has failed miserably, as the characters in question are historical figures who lived mere 200 years ago.
The music by Ilayaraja is wasted due to obvious reasons; as the songs are only added to increase the selling value of the film.
The role of the director Hariharan in this film is very ambiguous. The film is totally made by the stunt choreographer and Director of Photography.
The controversy behind not including this film in Indian Panorama in Goa film festival is better left without discussion.
The soul of greatest Malayali hero (The word India or Kerala cannot be used as he never knew that a country named “India” would have born in 1947 or state Kerala would be formed in 1956) Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja will never spare any one behind this disaster film.

After seeing 3Hrs 20 Minutes 0f Kerala Varma PazhassiRaja I left the theatre with somany new names than I have learnt. The film is going to be Epic or Historical in that means too... It have given Importance to all the characters especially to Kaitheri AmbuNeeli,Payyamvelli Chanthu.Even thalakkal chanthu is in main story, Ambu was avoided in almost all the stories. This Role did give a great mileage to that Acor too. Now Edachena Kunkan, Ambu,Chanthu, Neeli ..all will be remembered with due respect as they were extended the full support to KERLA VARMA PAZHASSIRAJA.. One more thing..It was above the expectation. Abt your perfomance... Its the Movie... No words than this...

പഴശ്ശി രാജാ - ഒരു ചരിത്ര ഏടാണ്... ഒരു മഹാനായ പോരാളി , ആ കഥാപാത്രം താങ്കള് കഴിവ് തെളിയിച്ചു എന്നതില് സംശയമില്ല. രസുല് പൂകുട്ടി എന്നാ ഓസ്കാര് ജേതിവിനോപ്പം സഹകരിക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നതില് താങ്കള്ക്ക് അഭിമാനിക്കാം.ആ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മനോഹാരിത ആ ശബ്ദ- സമിശ്രകന്റെ കരവിരുതാണ് എന്നതില് ആക്ഷേപമില്ല . ശരത് കുമാര് എന്ന നടനും മനോജ് കെ ജയന് എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആ ക്രു മികച്ചതായിരുന്നു.

എന്റെ നാട് പഴശ്ശി കോവിലകം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്നതിന് വളരെ അടുത്താണ്. പണ്ട് പഴശ്ശി രാജവംശത്തിന്റെ കീഴിലായിരുന്നു ഈ സ്ഥലം. പണ്ട് പഴശ്ശി കോവിലകവുമായി വളരെ അടുത്ത് ബന്ധമുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു എന്റെ തറവാട്ടിലെ കാരണവന്മാര്. പഴശ്ശി തമ്പുരാന്റെ വീരചരിതങ്ങള് കേട്ട് വളര്ന്ന ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിലെ അംഗമാണ് ഞാന്. അത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ പട പുസ്തകത്തില് പഠിച്ചതിനെക്കാള് നന്നായി എനിക്ക് പഴശ്ശിതമ്പുരാന്റെ വീരചരിതങ്ങള് ഹൃദ്വിസ്തമാണ് . സാധാരണ തിയേറ്ററില് നിന്ന് സിനിമ കാണാത്ത ഞാന് പഴശ്ശി തമ്പുരാന്റെ സിനിമ എന്നുള്ള ഒറ്റ കാരണത്താലാണ് തിയേറ്ററില് പോയി സിനിമ കണ്ടത്. എന്തായാലും വളരെ നന്നായി. പക്ഷെ ഒരു പ്രശ്നമെന്താണെന്നു വച്ചാല് അതു വരെ മനസ്സിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന തമ്പുരാന്റെ രൂപം മാറി ഇപ്പോള് മമ്മൂക്കയുടെ രൂപമാണ് മനസ്സില് വരുന്നത്. എന്തായാലും നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട തമ്പുരാന്റെ ജീവിതം പുനരാവിഷകരിക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടി പ്രയത്നിച്ച എല്ലാവര്ക്കും എന്റെ അനുമോദനങ്ങള്.

After the release of the film Pazhassiraja, the most interesting comment I heard is that, in future when children learning about Pazhassi, they wont accept the portraits on their text book. Because, in their mind Pazhassi is Mammotty. When they hear the word Pazhassi, the picture coming in to their mind will be that of Mammotty's incarnation. The same is with elders too!! Even if they show the real picture of Pazhassi Raja on text books, they wont accept it. It is really a great thing that you could change the history in a way!! or you beacame part of Kerala History.

കേരള ചരിത്രത്തിലെ മാത്രമല്ല ഭാരത ചരിത്രത്തിലെ വീര പുരുഷന്മാരെ പലരെയും അഭ്രപാളിയില് പുനരുജീവിപ്പിച്ച മഹാ പ്രതിബകല്ക്കൊപ്പം അവരുടെ ആ മഹാസൃഷ്ട്ടികളില് താങ്കളും ഭാഗ ഭാക്കയിരുന്നു. കേരള വര്മ പഴശ്ശി രാജയുടെ ജീവ ചരിതം, പാഠപുസ്തകങ്ങളിലൂടെയും, കഥാപുസ്തക രൂപേണയും പിന്നീട് ടെലിവിഷന് സീരിയല് രൂപത്തിലും പലരും പലകുറി പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. എങ്കില് പോലും വീണ്ടും ഒരിക്കല് കൂടി ഒരു ചരിത്രസിനിമയുടെ രൂപത്തില് ആ വീര ചരിതം നമ്മള്ക്ക് മുന്നില് എത്തിയപ്പോള്, രണ്ടു കയ്യും നീട്ടി ആസ്വാദകര് സ്വീകരിച്ചതിന്റെ അര്ഥം താങ്കള് പറഞ്ഞത് തന്നെ ആണ്. ആ പടവാളില് നിന്ന് തരിച്ചു കയറിയ ആ വീരത്വം.... അത് തന്നെയാണ് നാം നെഞ്ചില് ഏറ്റുന്നതും. അത് തന്നെയാണ് ആ വീര യോദ്ധാവിനെ നമ്മളിലേക്ക് ചേര്ത്ത് നിര്ത്തുന്നതും...
ഒരു കാര്യം കൂടി ചേര്ത്ത് പറഞ്ഞു കൊള്ളട്ടെ... ഒരു പുകഴ്ത്തല് താങ്കള്ക്കു ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല എങ്കില് പോലും.. സത്യം പറയാതിരിക്കാന് വയ്യ. ഈ വീരന്മാരെ അതേ പ്രൌഡിയോടെ അതേ ആജ്ഞാ സക്തിയോടെ ഒരു അണുവിട കൂടുകയോ കുറയുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്ത വിധം തന്റെ കയ്യില് ഭദ്രമാക്കാന് ശേഷി ഉള്ള ഏക നടന് നമുക്ക് സ്വന്തം എന്നതില് ഓരോ മലയാളിക്കും അഭിമാനിക്കാം.

I am a teacher by profession and was very excited to take my students to the theatre as it was very easy to have tour to the history of Kerala. The movie was a great attempt and really useful.It gave them an opportunity to have an idea about the then rulers, the British, the people and their life and lot more. Hats of for the movie.
N.B.: We teachers had to face questions from the students about the protagonist Pazhassiraja as to why he behaved like a coward instead of leading his people.
വീര കേരള വർമ പഴശ്ശിരാജയെ പറ്റിയുള്ള, ആ കതാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിചപ്പോൾ താങ്കൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടായ ആ അത്മ സംത്രിപ്തി അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ മൂല്യങ്ങളോടും കൂടി എഴുതാൻ തങ്കൾക്ക് കഴിഞതിനെ പ്രകീർത്തിക്കാതെ വയ്യ. അതോടപ്പം എനിക്ക് തങ്കളോട് പറയാനുള്ളത് ഇതോടപ്പം എഴുതുന്നു
ഒരു നടൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ അരെക്കാളും ഉന്നതിയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന അങ്ങേക്ക് പഴശ്ശിരാജ എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ എന്താണു സംഭവിചത്, വീരനായ ചന്തുവായും അരും കൊതിച്ചുപൊകുന്ന അച്ചുവിനെ പൊലെ ഒരച്ച്നായും, അതുപോലെ അനോകം കതാപത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് പുതുജീവൻ നൽകിയ മമ്മുട്ടി എന്ന അതുല്യപ്രതിഭയെ അല്ല ഞാൻ അവിദെ കണ്ടത്. പലരും പറയും ഇതല്ലാം പഴയ കര്യങ്ങൾ എന്നാൽ പഴശ്ശിക്ക് ശേഷം വന്ന പാലേരി മണിക്യം അതിലെ 3 കതാപാത്രങ്ങളും ഒന്നിലൊന്നു മെചം കൂടുതൽ ഒന്നും വേണ്ട അതിലെ അഹമ്മത് ഹാജി പറയുന്ന ഒരു ദിഅലൊഗ് ഉണ്ട് കുളി കഴിഞ്ഞു വരുന്ന നായികയെ നേക്കി “ഈ പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ ഞമ്മളെ ചീതാക്കിയെ തീരു” ആ ദിഅലൊഗ് മമ്മുട്ടി യുടെ ചുണ്ടിൽ വിരിഞ്ഞ ശ്രിങ്കാരം നിറഞ ആ ഒരെറ്റ ചിരിമതി മമ്മുട്ടി എന്ന അതുല്യപ്രതിഭയെ തിരിചറിയാൻ… ആ മമ്മുട്ടിയെ അല്ല ഞാൻ പഴശ്ശിരാജ യിൽ കണ്ടത്…മറിച് അഭിനയം മറന്ന മമ്മുട്ടിയെ ആണ്
ഒരുപാട് അവസരങ്ങളിൽ പ്രത്യകിച് പരഞാൽ പഴശ്ശിയെ പിടിക്കൻ സേന കുങ്കായുടെ വീട്ടിൽ വന്നപ്പേളുള്ള സന്ദർഭം ആ സന്ദർഭം വള്രെ ലാഗവതൊടെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന പഴശ്ശി? എന്നാൽ ആ സമയം അങ്ങയുടെ മുകത്ത് യതൊരു തര ഭാവ വെത്യാസവും എനിക്ക് കണാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഒരുപക്ഷെ ഇത് എന്റെ അജഞത കെണ്ടാവാം ആണങ്കിൽ അങ്ങ് എന്നോട് ക്ഷമിക്കണം അങ്ങയെ പൊലെ ഒരു പ്രതിഭയെ വിമർഷിക്കാനുള്ള അറിവ് എനിക്ക് ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് അറിയില്ല ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഒരു അഭിപ്രായം പരയുക മത്രമണു ചെയ്തത്. ഇതിനു അങ്ങ് തീർചയായും എനിക്ക് റിപ്ലെ ചെയ്യാണം

പഴശ്ശി രാജാ മനോഹരമായ ഒരു സിനിമ അനുഭവം തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു , പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും മലയാളികളുടെ സിനിമ സങ്കല്പ്പങ്ങള്ക്ക് പുതിയ ഒരു മാനം നല്കാന് അതിനു കഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നത് തീര്ച്ച . പക്ഷെ ,കേരളവര്മ പഴശ്ശി എന്ന രാജാവിന്റെ വീരേതിഹാസങ്ങള് കടുത്ത ചായക്കൂട്ടുകള് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വരച്ചു വച്ചപ്പോള് fiction നും mith നും ഇടയിലുള്ള ഒരു കല്പ്പന രൂപമായി ആ ചരിത്ര പുരുഷന് തരം താണു എന്ന് ശ്രീ M .T യോടുള്ള എല്ലാ ആദരവും വച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ വിനീതമായി പറയട്ടെ .സാങ്കേതികതയുടെ മികവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു കുറിപ്പ് പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് വേണ്ട തന്നെ. എന്നാലും സംഘട്ടന രംഗങ്ങളിലെ ചില "കുതിച്ചു ചാട്ട" സീനുകള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടത്ര "play " ലഭിക്കാത്തത് പോലെ തോന്നി .ഗ്രാവിടി എന്ന പ്രതിഭാസം സംവിധായകന് തീര്ത്തും മറക്കരുതല്ലോ..
ഇവിടെ ശ്രീ. മമ്മൂട്ടി എഴുതിയ കുറിപ്പില് തീര്ച്ചയായും ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്യേണ്ട പ്രസക്തമായ ഒരു കാര്യം ഉണ്ട്. ഇന്നത്തെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ സാമൂഹിക ചുറ്റുപാടില്, വിട്ടുവീഴ്ച്ചകളില്ലാതെ പോരാടിയ ആ വീര പുരുഷന്റെ സ്മരണകള് നമുക്കല്പ്പം ധൈര്യമെങ്കിലും തന്നിരുന്നെങ്കില് , നമുക്ക് പ്രതികരിക്കുകയെങ്കിലും ചെയ്യാമായിരുന്നു

Pazhassiraja was a good movie.Hope you continue to entertain us with such serious movies at the same time simple entertainers.As a fan i have a small suggestion recently you did a lots of movie in which your character have to run away from village during childhood due to misunderstanding or some other problems(Rajyamanikyam,Thuruppugulan,pokkiriraja,chattambinadu,Annan thampi) and character returns as grown up person.Even though they were all good entertainers repeating the same storyline many times will spoil your image.So please do not do any more movies on this storyline.

As a true believer and follower of yours, I was seriously hurt by the comments made by Henry - producer of Vende Matharam - against you. He literally said that you are the reason for the failure of that movie!
As your fan, I think me and cores of others have the right to know what is the true story behind these allegations and we would like you to hear from you about this.
